- To carry out installation of the network including hardware, system software, and applications;
- To perform backup operations, ensuring all required network are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, disks are created;
- To proactively monitor backups and network logs;
- To diagnose and resolve network hardware, software, and network issues;
- To monitor and maintain network performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely;
- To support the integration of various complex network and systems;
- To provide day-to-day technical assistance to the project staff and consultants working for the project;
- To resolve operational, infrastructure or hardware incidents in a data center;
- To support the implementation of new solutions or applications;
- To serve as a technical advance in the area of system administration for complex network;
- To provide second level technical support to users concerning network system operations;
- To handle the installation, configuration, and upkeep of network cabling and other networking equipment;
- To handle the Installation and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems;
- To maintain networks and systems including software, VPNs, routers and other physical hardware;
- To maintain network, configuration, preventive, and corrective maintenance;
- To maintain to ensure all contracts and licenses are up-to-date;
- To test and evaluate new technology;
- To train and mentor junior level staff to more effectively responds to end user issues;
- To perform other tasks assigned by the manager.
Job requirement
- Bachelor's Degree holder in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional qualifications;
- At least 3 years working experiences in Network Management;
- Experience designing and developing network in a complex operating environment;
- Experience working with a distribute team;
- Knowledge of network systems access and security guidelines and procedures;
- Knowledge of network performance tuning techniques;
- Knowledge of current trends and information sources for managing network systems;
- Knowledge of system backup and recovery procedures and techniques;
- Good written and spoken English; Chinese is a plus.
