- To stay up-to-date on regulatory compliance and AML/CFT compliance;
- To assess business and financial operations risk by preparing/reviewing and testing the annual Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Review Risk Control Assessment (RCA) for projects involving;
- To manage action plans and strategies to resolve issues committed in the RCSAs, Risk Assessments, Issue Escalation/Incident Report;
- To remind unit/department/division head to report issues/incidents, and impact (financial, regulatory, and reputational risk) with the proposed action plan and resolution;
- To set out an example for team members of commitment, compliance activities, work ethics and habits and personal character;
- To review/recommend new policies and changes applicable to financial controls, and financial as well as regulatory reports as applicable;
- To compile policies, procedures applicable and maintain accurate compliance records;
- To formulate proposals or recommendations to improve governance and compliance, considering internal business and regulatory implications;
- To ensure that compliance testing is done and Quarterly Compliance Report is submitted to the Head of Compliance on timely manner;
- To conduct studies on new regulations/circulars and accounting standards to keep abreast of current practices; responsible for information dissemination and training (when necessary);
- To monitor AML alert and take further investigation with alert pop-up;
- To perform other tasks assigned by line manager.
Job requirement
- Holding bachelor’s degree in Law, banking & finance or equivalent professional qualifications;
- Minimum 2-year experience in regulatory compliance, audit/taxation, controls, and bank operations;
- Understand of compliance/regulatory requirements, controls, and bank processes;
- Knowledge of accounting standards, banking operations, regulations and products, and project management tools;
- Able to prepare assessment reports, presentations, and findings;
- Strong communication and coordination skills, assertive, detailed, and results-oriented;
- Good command of English for both written and spoken, Chinese is a plus;
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office);
- Good interpersonal skill and be a good team player.
